This has a governor handle. Maybe there’s a PTO in that pile, too.

Dash has been partly cut out. Seller has listed it as a 1948 CJ-3A.

“Mostly complete CJ3A. The tub is in decent shape although the dash has a large hole where the gauges used to be. The frame is straight with a saginaw manual gear box. It is set up for a buick V6. It does not include an engine but I do have the tranny, t-case, and drive shafts that came out of it, along with an extra set of axles. The floor is not rotted out and and the tub straight. I do have the windshield frame (not in picture). This is a great starter project for a restoration, hot rod, or rat rod.”
UPDATE: Price might have dropped to $3800 (though the ad reads $380,000)
(11/17/2018) This appears to have a set of Warn “Summer Hubs”.

“1947 Willy Cj-2A Arctic top 4X4 (One of the first years it went from military to civilian) I am the second owner and bought it over 30 years ago. All original, I did most of the cosmetics myself. Looks great and runs excellent 4 cylinder inline. Receipts for all parts. New alternator. New tires.”
Thanks to Joe for sharing this story about Ben and his family’s 3,270 mile trip in a 1957 wagon from Kansas to Yellowstone and back over the past few weeks.
You can view the trip here: http://www.oldwillysforum.com/forum/showthread.php?13689-YNP-by-Wagon-from-Kansas (there are 11 pages, but no page links at the bottom of the page, so advance to the next page using the links at the top.)

“52 Willys Jeep for sale. Been in the family and garaged since purchased from the government. Primarily used for hunting when it was running. Has not ran or been worked on in over 20 years. Straight body and frame. Hubs move freely but recommend buyer transporting with a trailer. Title in hand. Will not deliver to buyer. Additional pictures can be provided on request of serious buyer. Some rust throughout jeep but not bad for its age. Drivers side floor pan has rust through on the seam. Canvas top with some tears. Great original platform to start restoration or build.”
Thanks to Joe for sharing this link. The sale includes a 1956 CJ-5. Should someone buy the lot and finds there’s a bunch of interesting brochures or documents, I’d be interested in them (or sharing them). No pics provided.
