Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Power steering, AMC 20 rear, Dana30 front both rebuilt 4:10 gears. Disc brakes front and rear. AMC 304 engine, 3 speed trans. No rust.

(04/04/2018) Looks in good shape.
“We are selling our 1946 Willis CJ2a Jeep that has been fully restored. It is in original condition and has been cleaned up from the frame up. It has new tires, wiring, gauges, rag top, 8volt electrical system, overhauled transmission etc. This is in very good condition and only has a few miles on it since the restoration. See the pictures and decide for your self. Asking $15000 obo.”

I’ve owned this since 2013 and has been garaged during that time.
Engine rebuilt in 2013 and not a lot of use during the last 5 years.
Does not currently run, however, motor turns with ignition, just won’t turn over.”
