This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1942 (I think) Willys Jeep for sale. Has the 9-slit grille. Modifications by previous owner(s) include a lift, larger rear fuel tank, and a Ford small block V8. Does not run. I took this on as my first car project and haven’t had the time in a year to do any work on it, so it’s time to get my garage space back.”

Not sure how much value is here. Includes a Cab Enclosure hard top.
“I have a 1951 Willys M38 for sale. No engine, transmission or transfer case. Frame was stretched to install a different drivetrain but body was not stretched. Body tub is damaged at cowl from being picked up by a grapple at salvage yard. Has matching Arctic Top with doors. Official use only is still visible on the doors. No front fenders. Has all data plates intact and have the original gauge cluster and some of the original engine parts. Still has lots of its original tie down loops including those to secure the Axe and shovel on the passenger side. Make a good restoration project or parts vehicle.”
I’m pretty sure Herm Tilford can restore this if necessary.

“This Willys CJ-3A is in fair condition. I was in the process of fully restoring it and stripped it down to the frame and had the Borg-Warner T-15 transmission, Dana Spicer C-18 transfer case, E-brake, and aftermarket Warn overdrive rebuilt by a company who rebuilds transmissions for Kaiser Willys. I also bought a used 1996 throttle body injected 4.3L Vortec engine and PCM for it, and have the bellhousing for it. The engine that was in it when I bought it is a 1975 Buick 3.8L it is in rough condition but comes with the vehicle. I have the 1951 Washington collectors plate, canvas top, canvas doors, original and extra seats for the vehicle as well.”
