Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This parts lot includes an engine with a DJ-3A gauze air cleaner. It’s bent up a bit, but I’d be interested in it should someone purchase this lot of stuff.
“1940 era CJ jeep parts. three engines, two running. transmission, cases, gears new and old, chassis with 4 new leaf springs and shocks, grill, axles, driveshafts, etc., parts and parts. Mostly original parts many in good condition and some not. I never threw much away. One never knows what “little tidbit” they would need but couldn’t find or cost too much to buy. No sheet metal/ body panels. Selling the lot of stuff as a package deal and buyer must take all. First $1000 takes it.”
It’s supposed to be a ’57, but it doesn’t have the later gauge setup. The chassis indicates it is a ’54.

“1951 Willies Jeep motor is not good, but, has Buick v6, 3 speed manual trans with overdrive which was working when I parked it..This is a project Jeep and will need new interior and paint. Body is straight and not rusted.I have had this Jeep for 39 years but no longer have paper work on it.”
Nice vintage color slide taken in September of 1963. Looks like a CJ-2A that’s been modified with a bench seat.
