Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Jeep Willies m-38 Has been repainted but still has all most all OME parts. Does run and drive. We do have the title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,500.
“I bought it from a guy who bought it in the Pittsburgh area. Apparently, it sat in a firehouse for many years and was maintained by the firemen. I converted from 6v to 12v because it’s cold and put in a key ignition. It actually came with a Geiger counter. Pretty cool.”
The price includes the trailer and the jeep.

“This is a 1947 Jeep Willy. I’m listing it for my Dad. He bought it to restore, but gave up before its done. Engine was pulled and redone. He has all the details. It does have a clean title. He is selling it with the trailer its on.”

“I am selling a CJ-2A. I have a shed full of spare and misc. parts. Among the parts are the grille, hood, and windscreen frame. As well as 2 Bell housings, 3 transmissions – 2 complete, 2 Power Take-Offs – 1 complete, 3 Transfer-cases – 2 complete, and Willy’s Go-Devil Flathead Engine. “1946 Willys jeep runs drives 4×4 works straight body Has 6 cylinder Ford engine Brakes need finishing Has a little rust but it’s a Texas car so not bad for a 72 year old. Court house ran the serial number and gave me paper work to get the title but said I’d have to register and buy plates as soon as it came in so I didn’t see any sense in paying twice.”
