This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hate to sell this thing but things have came up and I don’t have the time to finish it right now. It’s a 1947 willys cj2a with a Mercedes turbo diesel, it is the 3.0 liter 5 cylinder model from a 1985 300d, I have a video of the previous owner of the Mercedes starting it. It has the automatic from the Mercedes still on it which has gotten adapted to the willys transfer case. The jeep is axle dropped so it’s lifted about 8 inches. I have the Mercedes which I will sell with it if you want it for parts and scrap money.

Rivers and mud slow the builders of the Zedo road that will replace the old Burma road, supply route to China cut by the Japanese. UPDATE: Listed as a ’47, the serial number suggests it was manufactured in ’46.
Could be worth a look. Might have some Allstate or similar hubs. Might have some bondo on the driver’s side.
