Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a great 48 Willy’s Jeep project. Some assembly required Lol.
This is a “Barn find” that I took in trade on another Jeep wrangler tj that I was parting out.
The Jeep came from Tennessee several years ago and was taken apart to freshen up the paint and driveline but the project fell behind and eventually ended up in the barn for many years before I picked it up.
The good part is that almost everything needed to get it on the road is here other than a small block Ford engine!!! Yes!! That’s right it’s a little Hotrod with a 4spd Ford top loader 5.38 gears this thing must have been awesome to drive..
I’m looking for someone to take on this easy project and make it live again!

The caption suggests this was taken in the “Wildlands of the Northwest”, but not clear if this is the Pacific Northwest or somewhere farther east. Apparently, the man is hunting a criminal.
