This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1959 Willys FC170, factory straight 6 , 4wd, Warn overdrive option , aftermarket “erra” correct flat bed , currently not running ( needs distributor rebuilt ) needs tires, ( tires over 10 years old and dry rotted ) . Interior in real good condition . Cash Sale, no trades, will need car hauler trailer or roll back to transport. Mike shared this photo he found on Facebook of the lovely actress Christine Kaufmann on a jeep. She was born in 1945, so I imagine this was from the early to mid 1960s? This also made the rounds on Pinterest, saved by Roberto Flores. Christine would go on to marry Tony Curtis, among others.

Rebuilding the Athens-Salonika highway and railroad. Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 05-11-1948.”

UPDATE **SOLD** Was $1500.
Listed as a 1947, it’s got an M-38 body. Has an overdrive.
“Project, 225 V6, 3 speed with overdrive. Runs and drives but engine has a miss. New master cylinder.”
If the body has been patched well enough, this might be a good price.

The doors and top looks to be Meyer. The rear door is custom.
