This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks in good shape, but seller suggests it needs a little work.

Restored to original. Everything new or rebuilt.

Less than 200 miles since restoration
Current reg & pink slip.

Converted to 12 volt/ Has turn signals, bucket seats, built-in battery tender.
No top; no wipers.

“1966 CJ 6
Very clean. Garage kept. 100% rust free California Jeep. CJ6’s are roughly 20” longer than a CJ5.
-4×4 works great
-Chevy 4.3L V6 with a 4 barrel carb, headers and new quiet exhaust from the headers back. Starts right up with no issues what so ever; I daily drive it. Very fast and has great power. I also have part of a fuel injection kit.
-Smog Exempt
-New air filter and oil change 100 miles ago
-White paint and pin striping from 2009. Looks great but not perfect. Body is extremely straight with no major dents
-Drums on all 4 wheels. Stops well, no leaks.

Looks to be a 2A that might have some MB parts. The seller is under the impression that an MB frame is a stronger frame.

“Starts right up, runs and drives!
I believe it may have been a Bureau of Highways (before caltrans) vehicle, hence it’s vintage Omaha orange color and enlarged marker flashers. It’s pink slip says CJ2a, but I’ve identified that it has a rare MB (side stamped) engine Willys go devil engine and an upgraded heavier duty MB frame too. The engine and frame look stock otherwise and are indistinguishable using the same parts, if you don’t these vehicle history.

“NOT MUCH TO SAY. MY 82 YEAR OLD DAD’S OLD JEEP. HE’S HAD IT 20 YEARS? RECENTLY GONE THRU by a shop and REPLACED A BUNCH OF STUFF. RUNS AND WORKS GREAT. HE HARDLY EVER USED IT. ONE OF THOSE DEALS, HE HAD DREAMS OF JEEPING AROUND WITH HIS WIFE BUT THE WIFE DREAMS OF NOT JEEPING AROUND. CLEAN TITLE. HAS ORIGINAL 4 CYCLINDER, SWITCHED OVER TO 12 VOLT SYSTEM. That looks to be a Cab Enclosure hardtop, which means it requires the vertical windshield.
