Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1943 Willy’s jeep flat fender. This has a chevy conversion, I don’t remember if it was a 327 or 350. The only reason I am selling this is I don’t have time to work on it. It does come with a tow bar and heavy duty winch on the front. When we picked this up it was a ranch jeep and had carpet in it. We took the seats and carpet out. I was going to redo the center console metal work. I have two sets of seats that will come with the jeep and I am also have the back seat that was in it. I can put this on my trailer and deliver if needed for a fee depending on distance.”

This looks to be a great price.
“This is a rust free (yes even under the gas tank) M38A1 that was used as a fire dept brush truck so it was well cared for and kept indoors. It has some bumps and bruises but that just makes it look like it belongs in an Army motorpool. Runs great, lost of new parts, all the important stuff, brakes, exhaust fuel, front end etc. Call for details , $6500.00 with NH title”

Has an interesting framework in the rear of the jeep.

This does have a hard-to-find Meyer Super Cab, but outside of that there’s nothing particularly rare here. Looks pretty solid. I’m not sure why there is a red X on the driver’s die where the mirror should be.
