UPDATE: Still Available.
(04/02/2016) Looks like it might be patched don the driver’s side.
“I have owned this 1948 Willy’s Jeep for over 12 years. Over that period of time I have invested in many repairs/upgrades to get it in good mechanically reliable condition. Cosmetically it’s in good shape, though not restored. Some of the repairs/upgrades include; new tires, reupholstered seats, new gas tank, new radiator, brake system rebuild, shock absorbers, new windshield, alternator and many others (I have all the receipts). The vehicle runs great. Also included with the vehicle is a front snow plow — 6 feet wide! There is a hydraulic cylinder mounted to the front bumper to raise/lower the plow. It’s a great vehicle to plow snow — the heater works, too. I also have an original shop manual. The vehicle has a full top and both side doors (though not shown in the photos). All drive modes work; 2WD, 4WD-HI, 4WD-Low.”

“Jeep forward control. Very rare and hard to find. Will need complete restoration but it is all pretty much there. Some rust in the floors and bed. Must see in person to really get a good look at it so call me to set up a time or if you have any questions”

Nice to see more of these Korean War jeep photos emerging on eBay.
“1950 Press Photo Marine First Division jeep convoy forms after landing. This is an original press photo. South Korea: (exclusive) Jeep convoy of Marine First Division forms at South Korea port shortly after landing, for movement to front line action. Photo measures 8.5 x 6.75 inches. Photo is dated 08-05-1950”
I wonder just how many versions of this press photo are out there?
“This is an original press photo. The Postwar Jeep, especially adapted for peacetime work, combines the four basic functions of tractor, light truck, mobile power unit and passenger conveyance. Photo shows the new Jeep, just unveiled to the public by Willys Overland Motors, operating a threshing machine. Among the many and various farm applications of this modern vehicle are: plowing, disking, raking, baling, shelling and grinding corn, operating manure spreader, filling silo and sawing wood. Photo measures 5 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 1-11-1946.”
Here’s a good looking CJ-3A.
“Ground up restoration of 1953 Jeep. Runs beautifully and very clean. Single owner. Over $18,000 invested in restoration. Less than 900 miles on the engine since the rebuild.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5700.
Missing some parts and needs some electrical work, but the body appears solid.
“Vehicle is in good running condition, charges and brakes.
Drivetrain is noisy, but has been serviced with new GL1 gear oil and shifts smoothly through all gears.
4wd works fine in all configurations.
New seat covers.
Engine electrical is good – chassis electrical needs going through.
Wipers need service.
Tires look good.
Solid vehicle for full resto or fun runabout with a bit of work.”
Could use some better pics.
