Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Refit with a F head engine, Frame up overhaul in 1986-87. Garage stored for the past 25years. I recently flushed the fuel system, installed a new battery, adjusted the points and it fired up on the first try. This CJ is immaculate.”

listed as a 1942 (based on the title), this appears to have a civilian body and front clip.

Great project that I just don’t have the funds for any longer.
Not too much rust. Runs with original engine or I have a crated up engine that comes with it. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt and the left rear wheel is locked up for some damn reason.
I will update with better images shortly.”
Needs some work. It’s listed as a 1948 CJ-3A and looks more 3A than 2A.

(03/07/2017) The body has been slightly modified.
“I am needing a full size pickup, 4×4 3/4 ton extended cab, truck must be in very good condition, as my Jeep is. Looking for a straight up trade, no money either way. Please send me photos of your truck and your location. My willy’s is a daily driver with a half cab. clean title.”

This has a PTO and a ventilating windshield. It has the KS 0-9 speedo (I have an NOS replacement). One-family owned.
“1957 Willys CJ5; Original condition, with 4 cylinder engine.
Came equipped with rare split windshield. Stored indoors; new battery, original paint.
Has been stored for some years and not started. Has seats and seat hardware. Back seat currently installed. Has crummy bucket seats (not original) as well as the larger seat from the original 60/40 seat.
No diamond plate covering up problems on this CJ5.
Period correct winch on front.
One family owned for most of it’s life.

“1952 Jeep M38 complete with full canvas top, sides, doors, with winch, front tow bar and rear hitch with extra gas can and rear seat. New fuel tank. This is a daily driver that’s easy to work on and readily available parts same as CJ3A.”
