Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The jeep has a Koenig PTO winch, dualmatic hubs, and a vintage kaoline tire carrier on the back. Not sure how much value is there beyond that.
“Willys has been parked for about 15 years.
It is pretty rusty. It was parked because ,while spinning the tires in 4wd , something broke and seized the tires from rolling. While dragging it home ,the tires broke free.So it now rolls freely . Up to that point, when I drove it 15 years ago , the Ford 6 cylinder ran fine and the PTO winch worked very well. I have not tried to fix or diagnose it . Clean title ..”

Tons of new parts like, clutch, windshield, gas tank and sending unit, new driverside fender, all new brake system, new cab,new fuel pump, etc.etc. runs and drives, has pto drive on the rear. Has top and doors. Floors very solid, Has alot of extras to go with it. Just needs the body work finished. 4200 obo. No trades. Mom just needs it gone”

“I have a 1948 willys jeep with clean title. The jeep was painted about 20 years ago and has very minimal rust. Jeep has been in garage or carport forever. It’s not running right now but I’m planning on getting it running. I think it just needs new plug wires. Should be something simple. These keeps are so easy to work on. It also has brand new soft top and door for it and extra rims. Awesome little jeep and will start and drive once I get a chance to spend a few hours on it.”

“Have a 46 willys jeep with title. Engine was rebuilt and only has about 30 min of idle time on it. Very little rust considering the age. Needs to be put back together and can be a hunting jeep or restored back to military. $2500.00 or OBO. Text my with questions.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3200. Info from an earlier ad noted that restoration had been started in 1989.
