Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1948 Willys for sale. It is a project. Set up for small block chevy, has fenderwell headers with purple hornies, 4 spd trans, BFG tires, has tow bar, tilt column, plastic fuel cell. Currently has no engine, has had new center link and tie rod, as well as new shocks. I’ve got TOO many projects, need this one gone. Make me an offer, all I can say is no.”

(07/23/1953) “wagon has alot of new parts. brand new inspection good until 2/17.
-has a 69 buick skylark 350 with th350 transmission.
-new hooker supercomp headers
-new 3″cherrybomb sidepipes
-new fuel line and filter
-new gauges. temp, volt, and oil
-completley new wiring harnes. the old harnes war ripped oit and everything has been wired in brand new through a fuse block. everything runs off of toggle switches.
-battery disconnect
-rear mounted battery
-b/m mega shift
-upgraded electric wiper motor
-new summit racing 40,000btu heater
-new adjustable summit racing bucket seats
-new becool 1,300 cfm fan
-all new hoses and wiring on the motor
all suspension components are only 2 years old. leafs, bushings, shackles
-new tie rod ends.
alot of new stuff.
the rear floor is all new. with new batton strips. also the crossmembers that support the floor are new 2″x2″x.25″ box tubing. everything has been seam sealed. new rockers.
has 35×12.5×15 mickey thompson baja mtz tires.
thing runs great.”

“Selling my cj2a had plans to build it into a sick off road rig but gotta buy some new parts for my truck so parting ways with it has stock drive train with warn front hubs still has t90 3 speed trans with L head bell housing, no Engine, transfer driveshafts and all seats are in good shape no engine had plans to put a 4.3 in it since there is no engine but priorities changed shoot me a call or text have Arkansas title since that’s where I got it but just fill it out and your in your way”

“1943 Press Photo Army amphibious jeep delivers food to flooded hotel. This is an original press photo. With downtown Logansport IN inundated by the Wabash River guests stranded at the Barnett Hotel received their food via an Army amphibious jeep during the worst flood the area has known since 1913. Photo measures 8 x 6.25inches. Photo is dated 06-19-1943.”

“1946 CJ2A F4-Type motor runs and drivers. 4 wheel drive all works. Needs work to be road worthy. Tow bar. Push out windshield works. Tires in very good shape like new. Bucket seats. Brakes need work. New ignition system. Most electrical works.
1954 CJ3B no motor but has everything else. Bench seat in great shape. Extra motor parts (V6). Soft doors. Fold down windshield works.
$3000 or best offer for both. Will sell individually. Great for a summer project. Can deliver if needed within reason.”
