“This Jeep belonged to my father, who bought it new in 1951. I restored everything but the engine and transmission in 2005, and had the original engine rebuilt and transmission and transfer case serviced in 2012. This Jeep is all original with original engine and 6 volt system (turn signals have been added). Includes a Stow-Master tow bar, $500 new.”
UPDATE: Pics now provided. Unusual way of mounting the winch.
“1st Generation, WWII Ford Jeep. In the one picture you make out the FORD logo stamped in the body. 100% original. Complete. Hardtop is currently on it. Also have the soft top for it. There sounds like some value here if the floor replacement was well done.
“1954 CJ3B Willys Jeep Project. Clean title in my name. Sandblasted and painted, rhino lining in floor and bed. Front half of the floor was replaced including the tool box floor and hat channels. Seats are like new. Has Saginaw steering. I have the original front and rear ends, both in good shape, as well as those from a donor CJ7. I have a Dauntless 225 V6 with flywheel that came from a cj5. Started easily, ran good, no smoke , knock or strange noises. Have headers as well as expensive aftermarket motor mounts and expensive aftermarket aluminum radiator with cap and tank for automatic transmission cooling. New signal and tail lights, roll bar, new gas tank with cap, other odds and ends as well as take off parts. No transmission, but comes with a D18 twin stick transfer case. I have a disassembled Warn 8274 winch that needs rebuild kits and motor rebuild or replacement. I also have a Dana Spicer 23 rearend from a GPW.”
