Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looked like a cool project, until I saw the interior (or lack of it).
“WILLYS JEEPSTER ROADSTER 1949 great for restoration parades or shows.. Title in hand and its old.. Texas car, some rust in the floor but the body is pretty solid…. the engine/trans has been kept inside for years and still turns free.. The car has been in and out of doors various times.. Its solid for what it is.. I have the roof bows/hinged assembly as well as the seat frames, rear bumper and chrome trim.. The chassis is all original and all together rolling fine.. $2100”

Some parts in rough condition.
“Projects that were going to happen but didn’t. Willy’s windshield is original and perfect glass with mirror. Fold out hinges work. Windshield wiper holes at the top, driver’s side and passenger side. Seat frames are in good shape. Bed rails are in good condition. I haven’t seen too many CJ bed rails.
Oil filter is in good shape…no dents that I know of. I’m think they are CJ 2 or 3. 1948 ish. Tow bar is in good shape, only used it once.
The Moog parts are from 1972…I have the vehicle description plate. Would rather sell all together.”

“GAZ 69 Russian 4×4 4 cyl. Jeep 134 motor , miles unknown. runs and drives . Registered as an antique in NH, no title because of age. Have owned this for a few years and had alot of fun. As with any old vehicle it is easy to tinker with. The body and frame is solid ,stored off road in the winter. Call with any questions.”

This thing is awesome to drive! I’m only selling to buy my daughter a car. I have brand new warn hubs that I haven’t put on, along with the front driveshaft. If I get to them, I will put them on. Have a heater but haven’t put it back in yet either. I also have all the grab handles, shovel and axle holders to make it look like military. May take a partial trade on a nice compact car.”
