This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It appears to have a solid back. Could have been a DJ-3A convertible. It’s been converted to 4WD and a Capstan has been added.

“No vin plate. No title. Has what appears to be another engine in pieces laying in the back. Xtra steering column. I have both front seats that go with the jeep. I had to put a model year in to post. “This is the PERFECT mail truck if you are a rural carrier for the USPS. No it doesn’t have power steering, but it is TOUGH and built to to the job (yes, 30 years ago, but you would be surprised how well it maintains it’s appropriate use!) I have recently changed the starter, it was making a funny sound when I turned it over, it cost $100 and three bolts later, it was changed. Didn’t even need to jack it up, you can crawl under it easily. You feel safe in this truck because it is recognizable as a Mail Truck.
