Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/11/2016) “1946 Willys CJ2A #368332 (body Tag). OUV- Original Utility Vehicle! TN barn fresh! Flat head 4cyl Go Devil (GPW 6050-2C). Frame Straight. Body has rust but straight, perforations on bulkhead below front seats but overall sound, not bad for a 70yr. old Willys. No seats, windshield, or brakes to speak of. Ignition needs fixed/upgraded. We have just inherited it and have not had it running. No title, bill of sale only. Great candidate for restoration.’

Don shared these photos from this year’s Albuquerque balloon festival. There were at least three jeeps, including an M-170, M-38, and M-38A1.

Car is a monthly driver that starts immediately and accelerates strong. Has been garaged, less than 5,000 miles since brake shoes were changed. Acquired car in 1993 with roughly 56,000 miles.
