Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The January 1944 issue of the Canadian Home Journal featured a baby and jeep on its cover. This particularly magazine was advertised for sale on Facebook.

“Great 1940s lithograph toy in good condition from Badger Cutouts of NY. Set has been punched. Bag is in good condition, see pictures. Has been previously assembled. It is packed in bubble wrap and mailed in a new cardboard reinforced padded envelope.”

“Selling a 1946 willy’s jeep cj2a. All original. Runs drives and stops buts needs a lot of work. Just been using it around the property because it was cheaper than a mule or ranger.”
Most importantly, does it fire live rounds? lol … I wonder why the rear rims are a dark semi-gloss that doesn’t match everything else? Learn more about the M-38A1C.
“major overhaul on engine, nos distributor, new wiring harness, new tires .new brakes-wheel cylinders-master cylinder,rebuilt carburetor,new plug wires, new seat covers, transmission and transfer gone through, all new seals etc. this machine drives very smooth and handles great on the open road. 24 volt– zero rust was ever on this machine, rare to find.”

Seller has only owned it for a month or so. Listed as a 1964. Looks like a compilation of parts.
“I’m selling my Willy’s JEEP ( NO SMOG)(CLEAN TITLE IN HAND) .. I’ve had the Jeep only for about a month or so and i already have another truck and a motorcycle. in all i bought this vehicle on impulse because my father who recently passed loved to build Jeeps. the body is straight and it has a 350 Chevy motor. THE WIRES YOU SEE ARE FOR THE WENCH [ FRONT and REAR ]. it needs a new coolant overflow container and may need a wiring harness (STILL RUNS AND STARTS GREAT). I had the timing adjusted and the carburetor cleaned along with putting a new master brake cylinder in it. it does need some work but it drives nice and stops correctly. im sure it needs a proper tune up still but i just don’t have the time nor the money to put into it. if interested please contact me at show contact info its in Georgetown CA.. Asking $4300 obo.. comes with soft top and doors. MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE EVEN MORE !!”
