Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has full floating rears and might have a reproduction body (the gas filler neck hole is M-38 like, but there’s no battery box lid).

No obvious rust. I think that’s the first diamond plate windshield frame cover I’ve seen.

Appears to have a military body. Has an unusual dash design. The hood has been stretched passed the fenders.

“I have two project jeeps. 1967 commando half cab, no tranz or t case. It has the v6 in it still but it does not run. The other is a 1960 cj6, 4cyl engine that is stuck. Rear body is rusty. I can’t tell if there is more work needed or not, apart from the gas tank, but this could be a good price if it runs and drives.
