This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Dennis spotted this cool find. It needs some work (no gauges in the dash for instance). Includes a dedication on the dash. There must be a story with this jeep.

On the side of the CJ-3A shown in this Mott mower brochure was printed “Akron” and “Canton”. I can’t make out the third word.
Mostly marketed to tractors, as you can see on the brochure, the Danseur blade could also be used behind a jeep.
Has a VEC body.

(08/27/2014) This nice looking jeep is a combination of a CJ-2A and CJ-3B.
“Frame-Off Resto-Mod Using A 1948 Frame And 1953 Body.
Licensed And Titled As A 1948 Willys.
Selling this pristine 1948 Willy’s jeep. It’s a 1953 body on a 1948 frame…registered as a 1948. It has undergone a complete frame off restoration ( w/ complete list of all part’s and work orders). There is less than 350 miles on a rebuild motor with new block 225 V6. Wheels are US 16″ with 31″ A/T Bridgestone tires. Must see to appreciate.”
