1953 Mercury 4″ Stoke Crack shaft .010″ under with new bearing and seals
No Lead hardened valve seats and stainless steel valves, guides and seals
New Melling M-19 STD Oil Pump with new oil screen
New Speedway Motors wide belt Driver and Passenger water pump 1949-53 mounts
.010″ under Original Connecting Rods, ARP Bolt and 3.313 Offenhauser Pistons and rings
Isk F85-02 Adjustable Lifter, Springs and Isky Max 1 3/4 Race Cam
New Crank and Cam timing gears with Offenhauser timing Cover
MSD ready to Run Electronic distributor and Blaster Coil, Custom 7.8 mm Silicone Over braided Wires
Engine Converted for external HP1 Oil Filter
Macs 8A-9430-H Tubular Headers, with titanium heat wrapped
All Hardware was either ARP or Grade 9 12 points

Probably more value in parts than in the project.

“I have bitten off more than I can chew. I picked this CJ up last fall with the full intention of fixing and restoring it. Times have changed and now that I have a newborn at home the Jeep isn’t high on my priorities anymore.

The guy I bought it from said that the Jeep was running when it was parked approx 15 years ago. I was told that the body was removed and the frame was fixed and coated to prevent deterioration. The original body (’69) is the red one. The body that is currently sitting on the frame is a ’70 or a ’71. I had the option of taking the original body or leaving it, I took it so that I would have the original VIN plate. I have the original doors, hood and grill.

Any questions, please ask. I MAY be willing to part it out for the right price.”

“This is a mostly Original 1952 CJ3A…. Its been converted to 12v and has a new gm 1 wire alt on it..
Brand New NDT’s ….. New Seats Upholstry …
New Gas tank…
All reg’d current clean title in my name..
Good running mostly original no rust jeep… hard to find this…..

Newest pics are first… has new cowl windshield rubber.. just swapped hood that is cleaner.. has line down center… pintle hitch front tow bar.. new 1 7/8 ball hitch on rear.. and origninal speedometer works great….as well as ALL the other original gauges… it is a great solid jeep.. Has good glass too… I also just added a Hi Torque starter… brand new.. starts perfect every time.. no grinding.. and it starts RIGHT NOW Also has an era original half hard top…this turns it into a truck basically…. See last picture… I got this off another cj3a Flat Fender. It is in my garage ready to use.. sprayed also with bed liner inside and out..”
