Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1949 Willys Jeep 33,192 original miles. Has a newer soft top that can be folded back. Good solid Jeep. Yellow in color. No rust holes some normal wear. But was used just to plow a driveway way up north. I did put a new master cylinder on it so it has breaks. But these weren’t made to stop on a dime.
Does need a new battery but with a charge fires right up and runs very good. I’m sure the seats have been redone as they are like new but who knows as the mileage shows it never went very far. And it does have the original plow on it. High and low range work good and 2 and 4 wheel drive works good.
