“1949 Willys jeep truck in moderate condition but it runs has some rust.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4400.
(07/19/2015) The windshield vent has been patched rather than replaced.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2a. Mostly stock condition. Runs great! Engine, transmission, and powertrain are all very strong. Needs wiring work for the lights. This jeep has been well-cared for, and is in fantastic shape for a Willys that hasn’t been fully restored. Ready for use on the trails, or as a daily driver around town. As with any vehicle this age, it does require tinkering. Title in hand. Please reply to this ad with any questions or for a showing..”
Has new tires. Possibly a M-38A1D?
“This jeep is a willys/overland m38a1 military 1953. Eng. 134 cubic inch F head, in good running condition. The tires are new including the spare.
I have all the new parts to change over to 12 volt from 24 volt, alt, starter, solid-state distribtor.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $400. Might be an interesting rig with the extended rear.
“54 willys with high hood frame and body only . It still does front axle. I took the seats out and took back of the cab off to restore. I still have the sheet metal off the back and different seats. I got a new project. It does have a clean Mo title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $50.
“My friend pulled this seat out of the back his M38A1. I don’t know what it’s from. Do you think you and/or your readers can identify it or eliminate that it doesn’t belong in a CJ, wagon, or something similar?
It’s about 32″ wide. Seat back is about 25″ tall from top to the apex of the curve and seat is a depth of about 18″
The seat back has a full metal support under the Vinyl that does have strength grooves. Cushions are metal springs with horse hair or coconut fiber. I’m guessing the seat is from the 40-50’s but not sure.”
It’s a project, but does have the aftermarket dash, rarely installed in CJ-5s.
“1959 Willys Jeep with a Buick V6 231 conversion turbo 400 automatic transmission 4 x 4 oversized tires great condition but is a project it does need a carburetor rear drive shaft and Tires and Brakes other than that it’s in great shape no rust 3 inch Rancho lift fold-down windshield no top it was parked about 8 years ago this is a great find and when all finished will be a monster once again any questions or if you’d like to come see give me a call please no text thank you cash money is King make offer all I can say is no”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
(05/03/2016) It’s a project.
“I purchased this 1962 Willys Jeep Wagon as a project from someone who couldn’t keep it back in the 90’s. My plan was to continue the work he started but too many other projects got in the way. It has been stored in my barn waiting for me to get going…and now…well???
4 cylinder engine was rebuilt.
It comes with stainless steel exhaust and pipe, replacement fender skirts for rear, new hinge for tailgate, original seats. Frame is in very good shape, body needs a little work.”

UPDATE: Still Available.”Everything’s original” … well not much at all.
(10/05/2015) Looks to have a replacement body and some customizations. Quite a bit of this is unoriginal.

Good article about the jeep from 1943. It was published in the Milwaukee Journal, September 18, 1943.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Looks good.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2 mild custom. 350 with a mild cam, Rochester 4-barrel carb, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with Dualmatic overdrive, Dana 30 front axle with manual lockout hubs and a Dana 44 axle out back. Low mileage restoration, very clean inside, outside, top and bottom all metal fab done by previous owner and great attention to detail on every part! No rust at all, all steel body, two tops included (full top with doors and bikini), all canvas in great shape, interior in great shape as well. Tires, brakes and mechanicals in good working order, can drive anywhere at highway speeds! Also includes matching steel hood with fiberglass hood scoop and black high-back bucket racing seats. Small items that need attention: no fuel sending unit in fuel tank, so gas gauge does not work, 4WD works, but have not tested low range, no turn signals due to age, wiper motor is not hooked up. Price reflects the condition of vehicle. Don’t miss out on this solid, unique and fun ride!!!
