Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Running, current registration, 250 cu in Chevrolet 6 motor. Original 3 speed trans and drive train. Locking hubs. 6:50 X 16 MS front tires in good condition, rear MS tires are new (not shown in photos). Need to be restored, far from perfect condition. The motor is old, but runs smooth and quiet. This is a cash sale and I have a clean title. This is a fair price and a firm one. ”

I have a 1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A. It has the original drive train. Dont know a lot of history,I got the jeep in a trade and it’s not really my thing. Runs and drives. Great vintage play car although would probably need some work to become a commuter
It does has 5 new tires. Upgrades : 12v wiring, roll cage, rear seat, and some gauges aren’t original. Very little rust, two small spots in the body.
