(93/14/2016) Runs and drives. Not sure why the front clip is elevated in the front, but the grille is bolted at the bottom to a taller than normal bracket.

“This jeep is in great shape and runs great too. It has a V6 engine with chrome headers and an automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2013. The 4wd works like new it also has been framed off with NO RUST. Several new parts such as lights, gas tank, gauges to many to list. I have a bunch of pictures taken all through out the restoration. I’m selling this for my dad it is actually in Athens TX but we would consider delivering it Thanks for looking.”

“All original 1953 CJ3B flat fender Jeep. Complete and in excellent running condition. Tight running gear with no leaks. Original F-head (overhead valve) engine that starts easy, runs strong, and doesn’t burn oil. Tub is sound with no rust out. Locking front hubs. Tires are Goodyear 33×12.50R15LT on Al rims. Also included are the 5 original 16″ wheels. Included is replacement windshield, wipers, and misc. parts. Newly recovered seats. Clear title. A good desert rig or farm utility vehicle.”

Tim and his wife Cathy rented a jeep in San Antonio and explored the city. Tim wrote, “We rented a Jeep (again) wrangler and visited many area attractions, including the River Walk, and the LBJ Ranch. At the Army Medical Department AMEDD Museum at Fort Sam Houston we found Jeeps in medical service, including an M-718, M-170, and a 1942 Willys.”
