Tim shared this link. I’ve shared the FC video made by head quake, but not this RC jeep video.
UPDATE: A similar photo and caption was on bay in 2015 (see pic and caption at the bottom & don’t know if it sold). The description in the ad, photo, and caption are the same. It appears the check marks are different.

Ron’s got this jeep for sale. It is dissembled.
“Used 1966 Jeep cj-5 Tuxedo Park edition. Bought as a daily driver project, turned out to be unsafe and larger project (frame unsafe) than I wanted. Have original frame (goes with it) which I repaired, but secured a solid M38A1 frame and mounted engine/trans/transfer in it. As far as I want to go. Will be safe anyway. Have Dana 25 and 44 from M38A1 with 9″ drums and Dana 27 and 44 from original with 10″ drums. Engine, 231 Buick, ran good with good compression, Th400 Automatic also worked fine. Never tried 4wd (Dana 18 with warn overdrive) only drove once. New parts purchased before aware of condition: Headers, complete floor pan, Rancho shocks, Plastic gas tank, fuel sending unit, valve covers, Rochester carb, extra (not on), Ford reverse manual steering box, Heavy duty tie rods and ball joints, Borgenson steering conversion, new seats (have originals also), new bushings for springs for cj-5 frame. Rust on tub has been stopped, there are holes in wheel wells, with plate steel over these see pictures. Floor pan is for poorly fixed rust on tub floor. Everything else solid. Parts needed to complete, wiring harness, couple of brake lines, and body bushings. I will consider reasonable offers, but as with all these jeeps have a lot invested. Am trying to sell all together, but may consider parting at a future date. Can provide many more pictures if needed. Mileage listed may not be accurate. Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Doesn’t run.
