“This is a ran when parked 1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep… 30 years ago. My buddy and I got this in a package deal for a Jeep we’re restoring. It looks to be an old school doodlebug. I have a clear title in hand. Rims are ‘believed’ to be original 16” Kelsey Hayes, I’m no rim expert but a few of us think they are after comparing pictures. Also the bellhousing is either very early CJ or military, you can see how the linkage goes inside rather than the clutch fork sticking out like the later models. Feel free to call/text me any time of day and if I don’t answer I’ll get back shortly. We have forklifts to get it right on your trailer.”
Tom’s been working on the restoration of this CJ-3A APU. He’s wondering if anyone knows anything about the three-wheeled APUs that were auctioned in California about five years ago. He’s hoping to find some of the hard-to-find APU equipment.
Here are a few photos of the APUs sold a few years ago:
Here’s how he started, with a jeep he didn’t know was an APU. Since then he’s been learning more about them.
I don’t think I’ve published this one previously.

“this cj3b is a rare find all original, except tire’s and wheels and top. dealer instaled winch and under coating, it’s the one that one never find’s or some one got there first. this is a one owner who passed it to his brother in the late nintys, and has been in the basment of the house for years. it wants to run good but seams to have a intake valve not seating probably from sitting, have more pic’s if needed, check my feed back and buy with confidence.”
Looks solid.

“I am selling my very rare fully custom Jeep CJ6. This is a CJ-5 but 20” extended from the factory. The only Reason I am selling is to liquidate some of my toys in order to buy a new GT500. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. I will help with shipping. This vehicle is very street friendly and has not been off road since I had it painted 6 months ago. I have put about 1,000 trouble free miles on it this year. This Jeep needs nothing and has a fresh coat of paint on the outside. This inside paint is in good shape so I did not repaint that. I have tons of pictures of bringing the jeep to a bare tub to paint. I will send to the new owner. Here are some details below: Continue reading
