UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.

Sounds like it needs work.

“Bought this with plans for full restoration, but just don’t have time to finish it. Body metal and frame are in very good shape. Also have metal side panels and roof in fair condition and three original rims. Was running great when I stored it. Full restoration would be one way to go or just take her out to camp and use it on the trails. Lots of info on these on the net.”

1947 CJ-2A Tumwater, WA $2700

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was $2700 **SOLD**

(07/29/2015) It needs work of some kind.

“Project Jeep, kind of losing interest in it a bit because I’d rather have more of a hot rod classic car or truck. Would prefer to trade, interested in any offers but mostly looking at Chevy/GM cars or trucks, rat rod, classic station wagons, lowered, lifted, you name it. No Hondas or tuners or anything like that. Would also be very interested in a K5 Blazer. Prefer to trade straight across.

The Jeep has solid bones to start as a restoration or wheeling project. Already lifted on Rancho springs. Has a fuel cell mounted in the back, Buick 225 oddfire engine runs, needs a head gasket and carb, was told it’s a Muncie transmission, 4 speed, transfer case with Hi and Low. Replaced starter, new plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, brand new PerTronix electronic ignition. Offenhauser intake manifold. I’ll be steadily working on this thing still so it will just be getting better and better. Clean title as well.”

2 1957 FC-150s and 1 FC-170 Lewistown, MT **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer

“There is 3 fc’s. Therd is two 1957 150 and a 60s 170. The 170 did run and I will attempt to get it running again. The 150s are not running. There is a new engine for one of them. There is two parts engines that can be rebuilt. There is way too many spare parts that go with these to list on here. A guy could easily fill the back of a pick up with just spare parts. One cab has been sandblasted and the corners have been replaced. It still needs some body work before paint. The only thing I can think that I dont have is the seat frames. They didnt come with any and I have not found any. Any questions or if you want more pics please call or text. Hopefully these will go to someone that will get them back on the road because these are a neat part of history. I might be willing to haul all or part depending on how far.”

1946 CJ-2A Meeker, CO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.

Needs some work.

“First off, It needs work, It will run but carburetor needs to be gone through, New fuel tank, Body is in good shape, interior isn’t too bad, Sat in a Garage since purchased in 1993, It has a Chevy Nova 153l 4 cylinder engine, that would make a great around town rig or occasional offroad use, maybe that jeep you need to get to the cabin. Although the Transmission and Transfer case were rebuilt around 2000, They leak a little, and they always do. If you wanted to go back to everything stock, this may not be for you. If you want something to putt around on this is for you with some TLC. Id keep this but the current living situation isn’t working out to keep this. There is a lot of great parts If you need extra parts for you willys. Soft-top leather is in good shape but the windows have collected a bunch of dust and need to be replaced. (Kayline in Denver Can fix them).”

Comment Notifications Update

• CATEGORIES: News This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

I just noticed that I haven’t been receiving emails for all the comments readers have made about posts over the last few weeks. So, if you’ve wondered why I haven’t responded to some question, it’s because I never received a notification email. Here’s what happened:

At the end of July and in early August a hacker attempted to gain access to eWillys through brute force by repeatedly guessing at my password. Somehow the hacker recognized that deilers was my admin username and tried to obtain the password. The attacks came from servers all over the world.

The security measures I have in place slowed the hacker considerably. Still, I thought it prudent to change my identity from deilers to LostBiscuit. I then changed deilers ‘role’ from an administrator to an author, hence the change in the comments ID (in case anyone noticed). I figured that even if they cracked the deilers ID, there wasn’t much they could at the authorial level.

A couple days after I made the change I noticed the number of comments on posts seemed to slow, though I still received some comments. I just figured people were out enjoying the summer weather.

This week the attack finally subsided. So, that’s some good news. But, today I happened to notice comments on several posts for which I never received notification emails. The strange thing is I have been receiving some email comments, so I’m not sure why I haven’t received them all, but I suspect it has to do with the changing admin ID. I’ve just made an admin change that I hope resolves this.

So, if you’ve been waiting for me to respond to a comment, feel free to shoot me an email (d@ewillys.com) directly on it. Sorry for any problem.

– Dave
