“Here is your opportunity to own a piece of history…a WWII military Jeep (GPW). Excellent candidate for restoration: Willis engine, M38 windscreen, civilian gas tank in rear under floor, 6 volt system, civilian rear bumper, lock-out hubs on front, civilian air cleaner, body in overall good condition (very little rust, mostly surface, except for rear floor-rusted through-see pictures), original data plates, storage compartments in back in good condition.
It has been garage kept for last 15 years. Has not been run since being stored.
Needs: Passenger seat and rear seat, back floor needs repair, driver’s seat needs cushions, military gas tank under driver’s seat, black-out light for left front fender.
Date of delivery: 7/27/1943.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $5000
Jay spotted this one. Listed as a 1943 Military Jeep, this looks to me more like an early CJ-2A.

“1945 mb military jeep.body is good, with some repairable rust in the body, gas tank well is rusted out.It has a later cj or mc engine. The engine has not run in 4 years but is free and has good compression. It has a thin skim of bondo and the paint and bondo are peeling off.which makes it look bad.It has the correct T84 transmission and transfer case. the rear panel is in good shape.I have the correct clear nc title for this Jeep.”
It runs.
