It appears solid.
“1948 Willys CJ-2A for sale. It’s generally in good shape, but isn’t totally original. It starts, runs, drives, and stops. Here are the highlights in no particular order:
– It has a 1978 Ford Pinto engine that runs well
– The entire brake system was replaced about a year ago, and now has a dual reservoir master cylinder
– The transmission is the original 3 speed
– The vehicle’s top speed is 35-40 mph
– There is some rust on the vehicle, but nothing extreme
– The vehicle has a clear title and current registration
Text, call, or email to check it out.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
Runs and drives. Has a DJ grille.
“Have a 1952 flat fender jeep with a Mustang 302 runs very well needs tranny and transfer case rebuilt may trade”
Ted’s got 2 M-170 Stretchers sale. Contact him at willysted @ charter.net.
2 M-170 Stretchers $100 Each or $150 for the pair:
“I have some interesting left over military ambulance stretchers I would like to sell. They are in excellent condition and would be a great addition to someone restoring an M170 or even a m38.”
A couple folks contacted me asking about this one. The seller is convinced this is a shortened wagon. I did try searching “2wd shorties”, but didn’t see anything about jeeps. I have tried to document very short wagons here, however the wagon in the photo looks standard to me. Anyone have insights?
“I have a 2wd willys wagon shortie Project no motor or tranny (the motor and tranny Sold) floor boards are rusted, i have seats that can go with it if u want them have to Many projects may part trade for two sparco race seats or ? Please do not email
Dont call me telling me they didnt make them cuz thats Bull crap i got 2 sitting in my yard and i got paper work for one to prove they made it and do not flag my ad Look up the 2wd shorties and try telling me Im asking to much”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
“This is a solid running and driving old Jeep. Body is in good shape. There is some rust repair underneath and the usual dents and dings.(not a show car) Newer F-head engine runs like a champ and no leaks. The seals leak on the tranny and transfer case. This does not effect the drivability, I just found it easier to refill every couple months as to a repair!(I’ve found most Jeeps of this era like to “mark their territory”) Interior has newer seats w/ seatbelts.(could use some seat covers) Has been converted to 12v. I also have the frame and doors for the soft top but NO soft top skin. I have more pictures available and please call with ANY questions. I’ve owned this rig for about a year and am only parting with it because I recently acquired a 1944 MB! Willing to trade for a mid-life crisis! I’m looking for an old muscle car 60’s or 70’s. An ’82-90 Camaro could work too.(no v6’s) Maybe a pop up camper in REAL good shape(no junk) or anything cool and automotive related NO boats I’m not looking to re-assemble a project or pick up a basket case. Call with any offers I can trade up or down with cash or other items(air tools, bang sticks, guy stuff) Mine runs and drives, yours should too! I am willing to do some work and have no delusions of grandeur. Just want to make fair trade.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
Jim spotted this good price on a pair of M-151s projects or parts jeeps.
“Pair of M151MUTTs one was produced by Willys which is a 63 model. The other was produced by Ford and was built in 66. Both are uncut. Neither run. The 66 has a title but the 63 does not. There are spare parts and a spare complete power pack which consists of radiator engine and transmission.“
This is worth a look.
“hard top off a 1953 CJ3B willys jeep.. call if you would like more pics. very solid! windows intact!”
