Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a wagon that runs, plus a lot of parts.
“For sale is my 1952 Willys Wagon. I have been collecting these parts for years, and come to realization that I never going to complete my project. My loss is your gain. I almost have enough parts to make 2 Willys wagon. My goal was to put a Willys body on a Wagoneer frame. This way I would get the Dana44 front and rear, Power steering, Power brakes and I got a totally rebuilt AMC 401 engine for it (engine sold separately). I easily dropped $7000+ into my project, but I only asking $5000. Compare it to other items on Craigslist or Ebay and you will see. I am trying to sell it as a project rather than individual parts. I am hoping someone else will see my vision and will have more time to complete the project.”

“I purchased a used body to change out a rusty one ..but now I sold the jeep and have no use for the replacement body. Exterior is prep’ed ready to scuff and paint, inside had bed liner in it and most has been removed..could put on a fresh coat and your ready to roll. Body in two pieces/ front half and back half.”

Needs some work, but sounds like it runs.
“1949 Willys Jeepster Convertible. All original including top. original 4 cylinder L 134 engine and transmission. The floors boards have rust holes behind the front seats and drivers foot area.
I have cleaned and sealed the fuel tank and radiator. I have purchased a new muffler and engine seal kit. The car needs to worked on and driven.”

“Early Trencher. Trencher only, no jeep. Complete back end unit, springs and mounts, Dana 18 T case and T-90 with the pto and Brake drum gear setup. Take off condition Rusty Greasy. I have pictures of it running and on the jeep. Jeep and frame are gone.”

“I have a 1946 Willys Jeep project in need an enthusiast willing to put the time and money into building a great little toy. It includes a rolling chassis with new frame and leaf springs, original front and rear axles, (5.38/1 gears), transmission, transfer case, and drive shafts. Front axle is completely rebuilt with new ring and pinion, bearings, seals, wheel cylinders and brake hoses. Steering box is rebuilt and has all new steering linkage. All new aftermarket replacement body parts still in primer include tub, fenders, grill, hood, floor pan, and windshield frame. Original motor is missing, but I do have a replacement flathead 4 in unknown condition. Many extras include a box of small parts, (gauges, electrical, etc), roll bar, 2 extra trans/t-case, extra front axle, seat frame, and new gas tank. Best part is it has a clear title and original VIN tag. $3500 takes it all. 7one5-6two7-211eight. ask for Paul”
