“For Sale: 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A on a CJ5 frame? Also comes with Dana axles and 225 V6 Buick engine. This is a very neat looking beast that could be loads of fun as well as a real eye catcher. I purchased this as a project to upgrade with my son, but find myself with too much else going on. This is drive ready and most everything works, but it is clearly not a highway vehicle. It needs some work.

“I am looking to sell my jeep. I have owned it for about 10 years and looking for something different. Nice shape but the master cylinder is leaking, and it needs a battery.I have a lot of extra parts. Engine has very low miles on complete rebuild and trans and tranfer case were gone thru also. I have advertised before and have had some interesting trade offers. Kinda wanting a vette or mustang , camaro, convertible, something like that. This includes a Warn Overdrive. It might be worth a look for parts.

“I have a 1950’s era Jeep m38a1.
It was sold to me as a 1965 CJ5 but I had a few jeep experts tell me that it was in fact a military M38A1 from the 50’s.

It has:
3.8l Buick V6 engine
Borg Warner t98 trans
Dana 18 transfer case with Warn overdrive.
Gears are really high ratio… 5:33’s I think in Dana 44 rear and Dana 25 front.
New wiring harness is 60% installed
Saginaw power steering box

This Jeep needs some love. Sadly I don’t have the time or skill level to do it justice. I’ve never been able to put it on the road

The bad,..
Needs a fuel cell
Trans and transfer case need to be sealed up,Won’t hold oil.
It’s been sitting for a few years, it ran when I parked it.

Asking $1300 for the whole thing. Bill of sale only. No title. All reasonable offers will be considered.”

“1951 M38 Willys military jeep, original l-head flat head engine, all stock running gear, warn overdrive, has safety upgrades of 11″ brakes and Saginaw steering, the body is virtually rust free , the only rust is surface stuff, dent free , and no bondo, the seats are not original. It is currently registered non-op, in my name . It runs but is going to need a carburetor rebuild and a brake master cylinder, I just have too many projects , and this sweet little jeep deserves to be treated well. ”

“Project Jeep needs to be put back together.Rebuilt Ford 260 v8 with aftermarket cam and 4 barrel carb. Less than 10,000 on engine.Runs great.T-90 transmission needs to be rebuilt.Transfer case works good.Has Pinto steering column and Saginaw steering box.Electrical system is 12 volt.Brakes are 11″ drums and duel master cylinder.Needs top.Have brand new electric wiper motors.Comes with extra windshield,grille,front fenders,3 tailgates and extra complete front and rear axles.”
