This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Flathead 4 cylinder engine (Could not turn by hand)
3 speed Manual trans., 2 lever transfer case.
Rear mounted PTO gearbox with driveshaft and shift lever on floor. (Rare)
16″ wheels all the way around.
Original roof bows, and door frames.
Original gauges in good shape.
Original seat frames.
Frame is in good condition. (Never plowed, frame horns good).
Body is decent, some rust but saveable.
This could be restored or used for parts. (I know that this could be parted out for a lot more!)
If you win the bid, and just want parts, I can have them removed and shipped to you.

This CJ-5 looks like it has the original paint. The seller will trade for a Lamborghini … lol.

V6 Dauntless Buick 225 carbureted motor

4×4 with high and low
Front hub locks, Auto lockers in rear
Has warn winch with dash mounted controls
Tow bar to haul behind truck or RV
Has a tow hitch of its own.
No lift, but newer 32″ tires
CB radio
AM/FM stereo with speakers on roll bar
Seats are in good shape
Toolboxes under passenger seat and rear seat.
Soft top with no leaks
Odometer reads 36k but is not accurate. Although this was a weekend warrior its whole life so it does have low use miles.
Starts good and everything works.
Little to no rust on entire jeep.
Trade: for Harley, Ural motorcycle, Royal Enfield or Lamborghini”

This is likely a mix of parts.
“Registration says 46 ford willys hood grill windshield have been changed I have the original square corner windshield frame one if the hinged headlights extra t case and trans as well as a other set of axles has flat head and 3 three speed trans.has no rust in the tub for sale or trade price is firm”

“Military M38A1, (looks like CJ5) has newer V6 engine, runs good, has 1/2 metal top and doors. Body is fair, will run and drive but it needs work to be road worthy. Does have new tie rods and shocks on it.”

Ran across this M-37. Looks like it’s got a pretty solid body to me.
“1952 Dodge Military M-37. Chevy 283 under the hood with manual Chevy transmission. It has not run in many many years. It has a well built home made metal roof. Cool 4×4 rig! UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200
(08/31/2013) It’s a project, but it looks in good shape.
“1948 Willys CJ2A 4×4 Project, Has a chevy 283 bored 0.30 solid lifters, wiend stealth intake, Mallory magnetic breakerless ignition and Mallory super coil, 33″ tires and super single style rims 15×10, keg converted into fuel tank, rancho shocks and lift, 2 sets of seats one set plastic molded and the other is out of an Acura.
This motor ran super, I have since used the carb and battery on other projects, it has a broken rear axle so it will need to be trailered even though it has a tow bar attached to the front, all in all I’ve had it garaged since 1995 when I bought it. This is a good base for off road fun, the motor ran strong and loud with a definite lope, turns head even on the trailer, contact me with any questions more than happy to talk about the mods that have been made.”

“1952 gp willys jeep with 1/2 cab body and frame poor in 1994 replace all hoses and wheel cycli9nders and shoes has a hand pump for snow plow lift no handle for pump no seats in the jeep did replace the gas tank in 1994 the best part of the jeep are the half cab and the handle lift for the snow plow in general if you need parts this is a fair donor jeep but the frame and body very poor if it does not sell I will remove the top and lift pump and junk the rest as for gp the title list it as a gp but I have not idea what that is looks to me like a cj3a.”
