“This 1978 Jeep CJ-5 was acquired by the seller in 2014 and subsequently fitted with a 258ci inline-six and refinished in red. Additional work is said to have included a rebuild of the three-speed manual transmission, an overhaul of the axle and transfer case components, and a refresh of the braking components. Additional equipment includes 15” wheels, 31” tires, front disc brakes, Bilstein shocks, front bucket seats trimmed in black cloth upholstery, three-point front seatbelts, and rear lap belts. This CJ-5 is now offered with parts receipts, an owner’s manual, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.”
1948? CJ-2A? Decatur, GA $9950 on eBay
Bill spotted this refurbed jeep listed as a 1948 CJ-3A. It looks in good shape for the price. The engine has a 3A/M-38/DJ-3A oil filter holder, so either the year or the model is incorrect.

“This is a mixed lot of OEM & aftermarket Jeep parts for the Hurricane engine, CJ2A and CJ3B. There is some surface rust on some of it but everything looks to be usable. Some just need a little emery cloth cleaning up. The bell crank is the 3/4″turn down and costs $300 by itself, the install kit is there for it also. I didn’t unbox everything and I don’t know what everything is. There are small parts envelopes with little pieces that feel like roller bearings. There are Rod & Crank bearings, intake valve, wheel bearings, axle seals, 4 new wheel cylinders, multiple wheel and master cyl rebuild kits, all brake hoses and junction blocks, rebuild kits for the 3 different style of pivot eye bushings, distributor cap, rotors, piston pin clips, needle roller bearings, distributor and oil pump drive gears, voltage regulator, OEM temperature sender (I don’t believe is available anymore), headlight switches, carburetors, U bolts, and some vacuum switch thing. Selling as a package deal preferably. Firm on price.will ship at your cost.”

1947 CJ-2A & 1941? CJ La Center, WA $4000
One of these is listed as a 1941, but both look civilian to me. The blue jeep appears to be an ex racer.
