This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Barry has posted on Farm Jeep a really cool and rare brochure with plenty of pics from the Transport Motor Company out of California. During the late 1940s they had a full line of jeep attachments, from Hydraulic lifts, to farm equipment, to fire fighter and sprayers and more.

“Here for your consideration is an April 13th, 1943 Louisville, KY production Ford GPW 1/4 ton jeep. Disassembly was begun so there are some loose parts. Perfect restoration project. Has all four wheels (post war CJ rims with modern street tires) but not pictured. Has a post war early CJ motor that is not seized up. I purchased this almost two years ago but with two other WWII jeep projects this one has to go.”
