“1942-1945 military CJ-2A style rocking jeep custom made by High Desert wood workers association. One of six made. We gave one to our sponsor Lowes of Apple valley, and the rest went to call for life for kids for Christmas gifts as well as 24 doll carriages we made. We would like to sell this one asking price is 425 or a reasonable offer. It does rock and is painted with Sherwin Williams paint and all hand made by the members of our wood club. Body: Vintage 1946 CJ2A, various repaired areas and patch panels, structure is ¾”x1- ½” x .080” wall rectangle tubing, poly body mounts, vintage hood with heat scoops, vintage front fenders and grille, vintage windshield with original glass and PA state inspection sticker from 1979, full paint with Rustoleum Gloss Army Green (easy touch-up after trail contact), 2” body lift, clearanced rear wheel openings

Frame: Vintage CJ2A with gussets, new spring perches, 6-point roll cage with rock sliders, custom transmission cross member, cross bars, and rear underbody winch mount

The project is not done, needs someone to finish it.

Upgraded suspension to 76-83 CJ5 stock springs
Rebuilt transmission and Tcase
Buick 225 V6, bottom end was clean, resealed it. Heads were rebuilt
HEI ignition
Power steering
Upgraded master cylinder to dual circuit MC
Front drum brakes are 11” drums, rebuilt
All new brakes lines
All new fuel lines
Brand new tires
New seat cushions and upholstery
Advanced adapters chain linkage upgrade for clutch

“willys cj2a with body is a parts vehicle for the cj3a without the body. I have another tub in better shape but still not great. Bunch of new parts, old parts, and extra parts. Jeep with no body is in great shape. Frame is solid and unmodified, suspension is not hammered, Everything is still 6 volt. New battery and hold down, new starter and generator, all ignition parts are new. Rebuilt carter wo carb Comes with a bunch of new and old parts Engine runs but needs rebuilt Great start but my plans have changed and i wont be able to finish this project. “Willys Jeep parts M38 style with some differences. Tailgate has all reinforcements but never had holes drilled to mount the tire or gas can. Grill has military and civilian features. I think this may have been a DJ when Willys built it, they often used up leftover and over run parts for the DJ’s.
The one large section of transmission cover pictured has been sold.
M38 hood has been sold, now includes a Willys stamped hood in fair condition.
$450 for all or message for individual parts.”
