This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1942 willys jeep dune buggy project. 1993 jeep grand cherokee frame and 4.0 engine. It Runs, drives and stops and the 4×4 works. Still needs some work before taking her out though. Could also be a sweet rat rod project. I was gonna rebuild it but some things have come up and I could use the money. Price is $2200 obo. Price will go up as I continue to work on it. ”
UPDATE: Any experts out there familiar with 1950s corn pickers? Barry Thomas from Farmjeep.com asked me to ask you all if anyone knows who built the Corn Picker branded by Willys-Overland (see brochure below). He thinks it was CO-OP, but doesn’t know for sure. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Has some floor rust, but otherwise looks pretty good. Includes a rear PTO gearbox and overdrive.
“Willys 1953 CJ3B bought 2 years ago we’re it had been living on a farm. Been doing work on it since getting it to run and drive. It has been repainted at some point in its life to red from green. Always thought I would take it back to green at some point. New wiring from Walchs, all new fuel system, new seats, plugs, wires, battery, oil pan and valve cover, oil side cover gaskets. It has rear PTO, overdrive, extra roll bar and rear tire swing that will go with it. I’ve had it running and driving around the neighborhood with the kids but I can’t seem to get it fired back up currently. Has to be alternator or starter solenoid I’m thinking. Time to let go for someone else to cross the finish line with it. Title in hand.”
This DJ-3A was spotted by Matthew. Looks in good shape, though it has been converted to 4WD. Has the KS 0-8 Speedometer.

“Willys. 1953 M38A1C. Have Title. Just passed the MA inspection. 24 Volt original system, new spark plugs, new batteries, canvas top, jerry can, 4 wheel drive, high/low all work great. Runs great. Bring a plate and drive this baby home.”
