Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This model just sold on eBay for $108.51. At six inches long, it’s a good side. I was going to bid on this, and even set my alarm, but got too busy rendering 15lbs of pork fat into lard (we just had our pig butchered), so when my alarm went off to go to eBay, I turned it off, got distracted and forgot. Sigh. This is a cool one.
This is a rare one. It appears in reasonable shape, especially for the price. Someone might have added duallies to the rear.

“This is one of the last of it’s kind in really good condition. It has a flat head six cylinder engine that I was converting fro six to twelve volt. I was not able to finish because of disability. It would be nice to have someone finish this project. This ran when parked.”

“1963 Willys CJ-5 Tuxedo Park Jeep
It runs great and drives well (for an old Jeep).
Has a Warn Overdrive.
Lots of upgrades in the past two years including totally new 11″ brakes (upgraded from 9″).
New upholstery, exhaust, powder coated 16″ wheels etc.
Original paint (Indian Ceramic) and hard top.
Roll bar added.
The Tuxedo Park was a limited production series, not many remaining as original as this.
T.P. options included chrome bumpers and hood hinges, special tail lights, color-keyed steering wheel, etc.”
