This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This MB has a replacement body kit.
“Good, easy project. Original flathead 4 cylinder and drive train. Has later model replacement tub. Runs good, new battery and radiator. Needs brake job and some other minor tinkering. No title. Has some extra parts and windshield”
This was priced at $12,500 and seems to have sold pretty quickly. Of note is that it has the Hudson steering mod. If Wikimedia is correct, this may have been from a 1954 Hudson.

“Redone by previous owner, who upgraded from Go Devil to Hurricane engine. I bought in 2016. Converted to 12V in 2019. Just redid brakes and added dual-reservoir master cylinder this year. Carburetor rebuilt this year. Drives great. I have driven it from Fort Collins to Walden over the Poudre! Paint is good with a minor booboo on hood. Selling to do dental work.”

In other news, I finally snagged one of these CJ-5 ashtrays off eBay at a reasonable price.
Listed as a 1953, this 3B has a later body. It also may have a government data plate on the dash.

This jeep has been well kept, just replaced the master cylinder and has new carburetor. It has a ragtop that you can remove. It is a 3 speed, four wheel drive. It is custom Orange and has a winch and tow package. Custom racing seats and is equipped with a 12 gallon gas tank. Runs and climbs mountains like a beast!”
