This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hazzard Fabworx of Spokane has reworked the suspension, power steering, changed out all the fluids, battery, serviced the diffs/transmission/transfer case/overdrive, swapped in disc brakes all around (‘94 Geo Tracker) and installed lap seat belts. It has an “odd fire” V6 motor, Dana 30 front/Dana 44 rear both with 4.27 gears, T90 3-speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn overdrive. I will say the original overdrive was a Warn but the owner before me had it rebuilt by Herm The Overdrive Guy in Washington, so it’s physically a Husky case now. It also has a Warn 4500 lb winch mounted on the front. The odometer reads 30k and change. The thing still runs and drives great. It doesn’t burn oil and still has the original VIN plate. The story I got when I bought it was that it was a forestry service jeep in Oregon, hence the decals”

It starts, but unclear if it is drivable without some work (been sitting a decade or so).
“All original American Motor Corporation (AMC) Military Jeep, air-cooled engine, has fording, aluminum chassis, and is designed to be airdropped (parachute) behind enemy lines. It’s a 1968 Mighty Might Jeep; it’s all original/complete, everything is straight, no accidents. I have many extras, including aluminum chassis, motors, differentials, electrical parts/harnesses, axles, etc. I’m selling everything in a package deal, and I’m unwilling to split/sell it as individual pieces. Driven into an enclosed barn, CA’s high desert (dry climate/no rust) about ten years ago has been untouched. The Jeep was purchased, used, and owned by my dad, who passed away. I recently changed the battery, gassed it up, and started right up! I have the pink slip in hand and power of attorney.”

“I have owned this for three years, and basically the only time I touched it is to move it from the garage to the shed. I am selling it to buy a first motorcycle, so if you have any trades, feel free to shoot me an offer. The engine, transmission, and transfer case are out of it, but I have them all. The engine was supposed to have been gone through by the previous owner, but I have never cracked it open to check. The body is mostly straight, except for the sizeable dent in the rear left corner, and a small rust spot on the passenger side. $1500 o.b.o. Text or call with any questions. I would like it gone by Wednesday, but it’s not the end of the world if it isn’t.”
