This estate sale took place earlier this month. Maybe the jeep is still available (ad is still up)?

“Good running Jeep trades accepted titled and ready to do your work.”
The hardtop on this early CJ-5 was interesting, particularly the doors. I’m sure it’s a 1970s or later top.

“‘55 CJ5 with original motor, 3 speed, near new tires and shocks. Top and doors come off. Currently not running and needs a new battery, which I’m taking care of. Comes with original metal gear directions. Perfect for someone with the time to tinker. Odometer doesn’t work and didn’t when I bought it a few years ago.”
Bill shared this project. The seller notes this is “the best jeep you will find”. You be the judge. The tub has been modified with a script back. There are additional mods, such as the front springs being reversed. Strangely, this rig was included in this Hemmings write-up.

This looks pretty solid for an early, neglected M-38A1.

The starting price on this MB is only $10,000. I expect it will sell for higher than that! Thanks to Bings for sharing it.
