This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s an unusual find. I can’t quite tell how good of condition it is in. It sure looks like it is hidden in some kind of tall barn?
“This is a real Gala 1959 flatfender, VERY RARE this one still has a few places you can see the HOT PINK factory paint! tail gate DELETE body, have winshield frame +glass mint! Have Reg., frame is sand blasted in DP-40 no drive train, I got rid of it 25 yrs ago,$3000.00”

“This is a 1954 Willy’s Jeep CJ-3B, that’s been lifted, v-8ed and customized. This thing starts and runs great and is great fun to drive! The motor and transmission are Chevy 350/350, and both work great. The duals sound great without being obnoxious. It has power steering, and brakes, and the heater’s hooked up. I’m no jeep expert, but the remainder of the drivetrain appears fairly original equipment to me, other than obviously it was lifted. This Jeep sports 35″/12.50″/15″ radial tires and aluminum wheels, both in excellent shape. ”
This looks like a wagon out of an old photograph. I don’t know whether this price will hold, but this looks like it would be a great restoration project that wouldn’t need much work.

This is a nice looking CJ-3A.
“My computerless neighbor would like to sell his 1952 CJ3A WILLYS JEEP. The engine was rebuilt,new gas lines,brake lines,seat covers,body panels,floor pan,and more.The Jeep runs and drives nice and was shown last year at the Autumn Roundup in Ludlow”
A reader named Mike is selling this CJ-3A. There have been a variety of updates to it and you can see Mike has invested some time maintaining and update this jeep.
“It’s a 1949 cj-2a.f-head motor, narrow trac differentials, t-90 tranns, dana 20 transfercase with adapter. Completely gone through. I put a wrench on just about every bolt. Too much to list. Would trade for cj-3b with pto’S and overdrive or $8000. 309-697-5910 or email mikester51@comcast.net ”

This sure sounds like a good deal. It has a bobcat hood.
“I am selling my cj3a to make room for my other projects. It has a 4 bolt 350 chevy with an sm420 truck 4 speed, dana 20 t-case, dana 44 rear end and stock front. Brand new 33.12.50 BFG mud terrains. Completely rewired with painless harness. Needs brake work and the rebuilt 4 speed still has trouble shifting into 2nd. Does run and drive (I drive it to work on Friday’s and weekends). $2,500.00 or will sell for $1800.00 firm with different wheels and tires. Call for more info.”

This is a non running jeep due as the transmission has been removed.
“Buick 283ci V6, 4” Rancho suspension lift. Muncie 4speed. Transmition has been removed and has a broken spline gear. Trailer not included but is also for sale.”

This looks like it could use some work on it.
“1949 Jeep Willy, All original, black Plates. All original, No modifications done to this Jeep. Flat fenders. Original black plates, runs and drives but needs gas tank, almost no rust, please the pictures and you are welcome to come and see it.”
It’s a bit beat up on the outside, but otherwise sounds like a good deal.
“I have for sale 1964 Willys CJ3B “High Hood” It has had a inline straight six cylinder engine conversion done. It is an older conversion but was done nicely. Jeep has rancho lift springs, conferr shackles, roll cage, dana 44 rear, dana 27 front, 33×9.50×15 BFG mud terrains that are older tires and slightly faded (not weatherchecked much) with very deep like new tread. It has the original 3 speed T90 transmission with dana 18 transfeYor case. The jeep runs and drives good. The body is rusted pretty bad on the rear tub side panels but the floor pans and rear floor are very solid. The drivers side fender is also bent but a replacement fender that is perfectly straight goes with it. I will not trade for anything other than willys jeeps or parts as well as a 454 engine in very good condition. Cash only I will not ship across the country! Cash Only local delivery possible.
