Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but no obvious holes or major rust.
“This is a good jeep. The engine runs great. The jeep needs some work, but I have parts that go with it.
Four brand new mounted tires. A new top kit. New hubs. Gaskets and seals for front end and rear end. Shift lever floor gaskets, tail light. If you like to tinker with old jeeps, this would be a good project for you.”

“I have an ’81 JEEP CJ5 for sale and it comes with a bikini top, good tires, 4speed, golden eagle brown, new spare tire, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder, new water pump, new thermostat, new heater coil; it drives nice all it needs is some TLC. So if you are a JEEP lover then come and get this one of a kind Jeep.”

It’s priced a bit high for a non-running vehicle. While the body looks straight, it appears there have been a few changes, such as the rear bumper for example. Also, by 1961 were these still running split windshields?
“We have too many projects and not enough time, so its time to clear some space. This is a factory extended body, 304 AMC V8 rebuilt a few years ago but never ran, 4 speed tranny, NOT in running condition at this time, needs some work, No rust or bondo body is straight, and a clear/clean title. We may be open to trades for a running 4X4, hay, or ATV’s”
Here are four cast aluminum slot rims that are 10 x 15 and 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. The seller has a variety of sizes. I’m finding these harder to find than the turbine rims.
“I’ve got alot of mags $250 for a set of four; Four 10in wide 15s 5 on 5 1/5 for jeep or ford. Four 8in wide 14s for ford or dodge. Four 10in wide 15s six lug for chevy or toyota. Two 6in wide 14s six lug. Two 8in wide 15s four lug for ford. Two 13in four lug for ford and some miss. call Gary 253 740 9492”

“have a set of armstrong tru trac tires on aluminum wedge type wheels. 32 x 11.50 x15. they have a good 1/2 inch tread in great shape.”

That’s a good looking CJ-5 for only $1500.
“1968 – BUICK V6 ENGINE, 3 SPEED MANUAL TRANS, DANA 44 REAR, RUNS GOOD. WASHINGTON REGISTRY TITLE. Needs some work but runs and drives. Need to sell! Must fix my wrangler.”

“1942 Jeep, turn key. Hurricane 6 cylinder over head valve engine. Lots of power. rebuilt carb, new springs. nice tires, clear title, no rust. tune up. Very nice jeep to drive.$3500”

“Sb 350 Chevy, Turbo 350 tranny, built, mild cam, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Holley carb, gear drive, Hedman headers, B&M shifter, 4-point harness, racing seats, cutstom rear gas tank. Motor has like 5 Hours on it. Went to the sand and broke the rear-end. Have New Quik-Change rear-end to go with. Brand new paddles, (used once) $2500 OBO”
