Note the indents on the passenger side. This is likely a reproduction body. Seems like a pretty good price.
“RUNS GOOD, V6, 4 SPEED, POWER STEERING, OVERSIZED BRAKES,4X4, NEEDS A LITTLE TLC.”

How about this great looking CJ-3B with only 32K miles. Looks pretty stock.
“I have an original 1962 CJ3B with less than 32,000 miles on it. The paint has been touched up but is still sea foam green. Kelly hardtop side steps, there was some slight rust on the passenger floor brace which has been repaired. I have the original wheels and new 15 inch bias ply tires. This jeep also has the PTO winch installed as well as I have the PTO to Warn overdrive adapter by Herm the OD guy. (no overdrive) Can send photos. $5000 Washington State.”
Looks like it needs some work. The price will likely drop some.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A, same owner since 1971, was a farm Jeep, stock motor/trans., not butchered – great project. Runs and drives good, needs wiring/lights,top,other work. Some parts, stock 15” wheels included. Will trade/part trade for 2002 or newer Honda XR100R, CR250R, may consider other interesting Honda motorcycle. E-mail with phone # for more info. “
Vivek purchased a 1967 CJ-3B right hand drive Mahindra at the end of 2004. According to his early blog notes, the jeep barely started, was missing the front drive line, and generally needed a lot of work. When he finally did pick it up, on the way back it stalled, requiring the help of some local builders to move it out of the way of a bus. Fast forward several years later and you can see Vivek and his CJ-3B pictured on the right.
Among Vivek’s challenges was his effort to get the papers. Not only were the papers absent, but apparently the owner wanted to sell the jeep, but the owner’s son did not. It took a few weeks before Vivek could get the original papers, insisting the owner drop the price slightly further for all the trouble the owner caused him. You can read about the purchase here.
Learn more about Vivek’s recent engine rebuild, the jeep club he belongs to, and some recent jeeping pictures. Also, check out Vivek’s friend UBS and his one-of-a-kind jeep collection.
Vivek’s working for the next few months in Milipitas, California. When he heads back in December, he hopes to take back a lift kit with him. If anyone has any suggestions, comment below.
James sent me a pic of his recently painted flattie. It looks great and, he write, he didn’t have to bondo it.
As I started looking a the image more closely, I realized that his jeep has reversed shackles on the front and outboarded 2 1/2 inch springs on the back. Nice ….
This GPW looks like it is in very good shape. I’m surprised it isn’t gone priced at $3000. The back seems like it sits a little high? No description at all.
“Please leave a Email. I will get Back to you as soon as I can. Thanks For Looking…”
Since it’s been trailered, maybe the running gear’s in good shape?

The Pontiac 195, also known as a Pontiac 194 and the ‘trophy 4’, is an interesting engine built between 1961-1963. Apparently, it’s nearly as heavy as its 389 V8 cousin. That said, these were successfully modified for racing, including drag racing. While looking up the engine, I found the below jeep in several pictures on this website.
“1952 Willys CJ-3A with a Pontiac 195 (3.4l, half of a Pontiac 389 V8) slant 4 that runs great. New CJ-5 brakes/wheel cylinders, new battery, K&N air filter, Rancho 2 1/2 inch lift and shocks, 95% tread 31X10’s Federal All Terrains, new Besttop seats, good Besttop soft top, Smittybuilt XRC-8 Winch. I most of the receipts for the work. I will consider offers below 3000, but I will be keeping the winch.
