“Flat fender tub fenders grill windshield frame parts”
Bill shared this second video fo a tour through the MD Juan Factory in the Philippines.
Mike spotted this short video related to the Buick V-6s in jeeps. The narrator doesn’t mention that prior to Kaiser’s use of the engine in CJ-5s as an option, some dealers were already installing them. A Salt Lake City dealer (Hayes Brothers) was particularly active. Kits were also being made available for DIY folks, like this kit from Hoosier out of Pendleton. (btw, it was Kaiser Jeepk and not AMC, that purchased the Buick V6 tooling in the 1967).
This photo shows the new Ken Smith Motors Jeep franchise. The photo appeared in the May 22, 1965, issue of The News, out of Paterson, New Jersey.
This made the local news yesterday. Some genius thought loading this SUV into the back of a U-Haul was a good idea. However, the State Patrol was less impressed.
This won’t last long.

“1944 Jeep Willys. Still has original engine. Has current tags and runs great. Its a great little jeep for taking on back roads and trails. It is easily pulled behind another vehicle. Odometer shows 24k miles but not sure how accurate that is.”
Looks like a good build.

Glenn’s listed this CJ-3B for sale. It looks in good shape.

“This is a 1953 Jeep cj3b that my dad bought in 1961. It has been garaged all the time only driven in the summer and put up on blocks in the winter. There is no rust on the body or frame. A Warn overdrive has been added and Warn hubs. The seats have been reupulstered with new fabric and foam. The top is in good condition and nearly new. It has been converted to 12volt and the spare tire moved to the rear. The original tire mount and 6 volt parts go with it.”
This was/is a VEC CJ-2A, though it has some mods now.. Note the early windshield, too.
