Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This brochure sold on eBay. It shares a Jeep-Approved bumper for CJ-5s, CJ-6s, FCs, Trucks, and Gladiators. It is form F144W.
This was a purpose-modified, possibly M-38, used as part of a geological survey, so it has some unusual mods. There’s probably not much value here, but it would interesting to poke around to check out the mods.

Anyone recognize the transfercase on this rig? It appears that the pic at the very bottom was taken before the jeep was painted gray? This may have a Bobcat hood.

This CJ-2A may have been a column shift. It appears the gear shift sits back where the PTO shifter generally is.

It looks like the body may have been stretched some (to fit the CJ-7 frame) and the gas-inlet hole covered over.

“1948 ( title says 50, don’t know why but is a 48) 4×4 locking hubs high and low 2 and 4 wheel transfer case all work. 3 speed manual transmission fireball v6 engine. Runs great registration current. Hydraulic dump bed. Frame under bed super clean no dents or dings. Interior needs work. Needs wiring, lights not hooked up. Cool classic truck project that you can still cruise around while working on it. I have the step side panels just have them off. Was about to start painting but got another truck so letting this one go. ”
