This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: This was up for auction last year in 2018 and 2019. Starting price dropped to $1600 with the auction scheduled for Friday, June 18th (Today).
I’m surprised to see no bow holders. Looks like the dash plate in a long, single one, and I see no column shift. I’d say this was a mid 1946 or later photo.

Maury pointed me to this Four Wheeler article on a stock CJ-6 with some neat options. One of those options was a “factory-installed AM radio option”. It’s not the cleanest factory install, but does the job. Anyone know whether 1) this was a factory install or a dealer install and 2) what years the optional radio was offered?
This jeep may be worth a look. It’s got a trencher on the back. Only 10,000+ miles on it.

“4 cyl overhead valve original engine, runs good, 3 speed manual transmission, 12 Volt generator, had seats reupholstered, needs some body work, 40,800 miles, Jeep is pretty much original, no major upgrades. EMP proof. Previous owner put in plastic fuel tank, Have clear NC title $6500.00 Located in Wilkesboro NC.”
The jeep is mostly disassembled, but there is a pic of the chassis with the drive train and steering wheel. Not sure how much value is here, but there appears to be some. It looks like it has a PTO as well.

This 1948 CJ-2A with a side patch and a 3A windshield was owned by Jasper County, Indiana. It’s up for auction on Saturday, June 19th.

“Complete Kelly full steel cab fits Willys CJ3A.
Basically consists of 6 large pieces.
2 lockable doors with frames that attach to the windshield. The door windows roll up.
2 side panels with large windows.
1 solid piece roof.
1 lift gate with large window.
Had very limited usage and only has minor surface rust from setting outside a couple of years.”
This engine looks in good shape and is probably from a CJ-3A or DJ-3A.There’s also supposed to be a jeep chassis and other parts for auction.
