Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Clean title in hand Please be aware this vehicle is only 2wd as well as right hand drive. The jeep currently has an 232 6cyl engine Automatic transmission Dana 44 rear with 3.07 gears Also included are all the parts I have that I intended to use to convert it to 4×4. This includes Cj5 frame and narrow track axles with 4.56 gears. Set of seats from a PT cruiser that will bolt right in. Dana 300 transfer case 2 AMC 232 engines. One is good and ready to use one is locked up and for parts. Miscellaneous drivetrain related parts such as driveshafts and motor mounts”

(11/28/2020) Runs? The drain holes have been filled, so it’s likely had some body work. Both sides of the body have been notched near the seats.

This is a fun article about a former decorator turned jeep jockey named Pvt. Hurshal (Peewee) Wilson in New Guinea ‘captured’ 17 prisoners. It appeared in the Medford Mail Tribune (Medford,Oregon). His jeep was named “Helen” after his girlfriend.
Hurshal would survive WWII and leave the Army a Tech 5, but his relationship to Helen did not. Instead, he married Deedra R (Harman) Wilson. He passed away in 1991, his wife passing later in 2006, with both buried at Riverside National Cemetery. There is no evidence they had children.
