“I have a collection of 1946 VEC CJ2A Jeep parts for restoration or just parts. I was going to restore this but I have an aircraft restoration project that is more demanding of my time.

Parts include: Rolling chassis, (full floating rear axle), with tub, 4 like new 600×16 military NDT tires, engine, transmission/transfer case, radiator, rear driveshaft, drivers seat frame, non-VEC windshield frame, tailgate, hood, front fenders and grill.

Missing parts: Front drive shaft, exhaust system, fuel tank, VEC windshield frame, passenger seat frame and both rear axles.

The tub is interesting in that there is and opening around the steering column for the column shift linkage it also has the cover and mounting holes that look original for a floor shift. The trans I got with it is a top loader T90 floor shift.

There is the usual rust in the floors, toolbox and hat channels.”

“1946 Willys Jeep 2a. Project Jeep. Mostly complete. The motor did run before I pulled it. It will need some sheet metal replaced. Motor is original and so is the whole drivetrain. It has a rare column shift transmission in it. The wheels on the Willys are not included. I will however include the original wheels that came with it instead. Im firm on the price, no trades. “1946 Willys Jeep 4×4, incomplete, no paperwork, no title, I mistakenly paid 1500 for this and now willing to lick my wounds after a dip in lake stupid. I was told this is a 1946 as it is a 3 speed on the column, and has the two sticks on the transmission.
Lets be clear, I do not need a lesson on values, on what it takes to re-do a Willys, to be honest I don’t need anymore lessons on anything.
What you see is what you get, there is no secret stash of New Old Stock parts that I am squirreling away.
We almost had it running, lost spark and interest when the rotor fell apart, engine block is good, turns over no problem, and is very complete, was told early block as it has an “oval pad” behind the oil filler.
Has locking hubs, and a pretty decent frame, not trying to be rude in my description, oh well sorry my wife doesn’t like me either, so ill get over it. Its like a 1947 1948, and maybe a 1949

“Selling my project 46 cj2a. I was planning on restoring it and building it but plans have changed. It has a dauntless v6, 3 speed trans, twin sticks, reupholstered seats, original data plates which are hard to find, and a fairly rust free body. No rust holes! The hood and fenders are taken off at the moment but I can put them back on if need be. It is a project, but it runs, drives and stops and all gauges work accurately.

Needs paint, body work, probably a little more tuning with the carb, and wiring for the lights. I can finish the body work and paint but we would have to work out a price.
